Default Bowden cable hook up

Could someone please tell me where to fasten the holding clamps for the Bowden cables at the heater control end. I tried the 2 bolts hanging down from the instrument panel but they don't move there. It's for a 1969 Convertible. Thanks.

IIRC there are 2 bolt holes on the lower forward end of the control head for the tabs on the cables. Should be in the AIM or service manual too.

If you mean the cables to the kick panel vent doors on non-AC cars, they mount on the underside of the console using to captured nuts and screws.
