Shifter Cable Install ?
As mentioned in previous posts, I purchased this 81 project that the PO tore down and I am trying to rebuild it with new/rebuilt parts. That said, he removed the shifter cable and detent cable from the car. Is there a how to or step by step procedure written somewhere that describes how these cables are installed? I know I will have to remove the console and have begun to do so but dont want to tear too much apart if I dont have too. The tranny is a TH350.
Any help would be appreciated.

I need to adjust my detent cable on my TH350 as well, so I would be interetsed in the procedure as well.John

There are several posts on adjusting detent cable, I am looking for install pics/procedures.
For adjusting, there is a black clip that holds the cable in place, it has a built in clamp that will release the cable when lifted. pull the clamp and while holding the throttle linkage wide open, reset the clamp on the cable. I'm pretty sure thats how it goes.
