Default Headlight relay mod- too.

I saw this post a few days ago.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-t...-pictures.html
so I decided to try the same thing, I had some extra 12v relays and a 30 amp circuit breaker (manual reset). I turned on the headlights before I started to see how they looked to the naked eye, checked voltage at bulbs ( 12.3v), wired it up,getting power directly from alternator.(cs144) checked brightness, seemed a little brighter, checked voltage at bulbs ( 14.1v) it did make a difference, plus it took the load off the headlight switch that I had replaced a few years ago.. glad it worked.... just fyi.

Nice. I've got to do the same thing on mine; I keep tripping the headlamp switch relay when my brights are on. Nothing like driving down a dark road and your lights go out I'm going to do it as one of my winter projects!!!
