Transmission Woes....suggestions needed
Questions:
1/ If I get a stock BW shifter and rods will it work in the console?
2/ Hurst unable to help without removing complete shifter assembly, take piks and send to them for ID of what is on car.
3/ Apparently Corvette stopped using BW in 1962 and went to Muncie m20/m21 or m22.
4/Other than trying to find a 1969 M20 or M21 does anyone have any other suggestions please?
5/ Are there any other modifications required to make a Muncie work in place of the BW? Prop shaft length etc?
6/ Any leads on a m20 or m21 transmission appreciated.
Any other help greatly appreciated.
Thanks Mike
The factory linkage is the same from 69 to 73.
For a hurst shifter you need this linkage kit

The problem now is that I cannot get 2nd or 4th. I was only concentrating on reverse so didn't realize this would be a problem until
I tried it out after making and installing the block. Any ideas? Bend the gear shifter into a C shape or something similar.
All ideas welcomed. Thanks Mike
