This is on the cover for the brochure for our local track (1/4 and road course). Heck of a nice '69 he has there. By the way it's an Independent Rear if you havn't noticed, he's running a fiberglass monospring.
Who says you need a solid axel to be competitive??
Way
I was very impressed to begin with. Hearing that is an IRS & glass spring has me completely floored. This is really encouraging to see. This means that with some slicks on my car, I'll probably be able to pop wheelies! That just can't be good for the front end :jester

Man, your car could flip backwards if you wanted it to!
:smash:
The big concern everyone has with my car & my proposed next version is traction. If your able to lift the front of the car off the ground, then I think it's safe to say there is traction happening! I won't be able to do that with the street tires, but the wrinkle walls that guys has to look that crazy. We ought to be able to fit something like that on the car for a few runs.
A buddy of mine has a 9sec. '74 'vette with his original IRS, that's what made me decide to "go for it" when I decided to take on this project of retrofitting IRS into an F-body. If it can handle his 60ft times, I know they can handle anything I'll throw at it. :yesnod:
