L98 Belts/Pulleys
Will the serpentine belt drive and accessories from an Vette L98 bolt into a C3? Talking about the belt drive, the A/C compressor, Alternator, PS pump. Is there room betweent he control arms for this to fit without mods?

There are several guys running late model TPI setups on their C3's, I think they are using the serpentine unit. I was thinking of trying a late model truck serpentine setup, since all the accessories are in the same locations, but learned that the trucks used a long waterpump, so the crank pulley was probably too far forward to clear the front crossmember.

No the truck set-up won't work. I was looking at my 95 tahoe today and I noticed it had the long water-pump. This would put the power steering pulley way too far forward as they are close stock. Sure would like to put serpentine on my 78 though.

I'm running 88 vette pulleys on the driver side and 85 vette on the passenger side. You will need the revs flow water pump and a one custom made power steering hose for this set up. I also used a tension bar from S & P to take up the slack. Runs great with no noise past 5500 rpms.
