I have a all manual car. I want to install factory components for power steering and use the power steering pump for Hydro boost brakes. Does anyone know if I need to be concerned with the hydraulic piston interfering with the stock oil pan on the sbc 327. Also can I use my manual relay rod or do I need a power steering relay rod. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you

The stock power assisted steering will not interfere with the stock oil pan.

You will need a relay rod with provision for mounting the power steering control valve and cylinder.

Follow the diagrams in the 68 AIM optional power steering installation. That will get you factory power steering. I do not have a clue what that will do for Hydroboost.
BUT if I was doing today I would go for the Borgeson(SP?) conversion. You might want to look into that....it looks a lot simpler, cleaner, and less complicated.
Anyway, FYI:
I bought a kit and it came with a different relay rod, did not use the manual rod.
