Default spark plug heat range

So another spark plug thread for the more knowledgeable. Ok so my Dart heads call for autolite ar133,everything I've read on those plugs say they don't last long on a street car. The local parts store and I cross referenced the plug and came up with the ngk 5673-9. The 9 being the heat range. I know ngk numbers there hear range with a higher number meaning a colder plug. So would a 9 be to cold of a plug? Basically the plug has to have a 460 reach and a tapered seat

why arent you just going to a autolite ar134? You could also cross reference anything you want at this site. The NGK you provided is colder, R5673-9 is a ar132.

You have to watch the burn pattern on the ground strap. The heat mark has to be in the middle of the bend. Then the heat range is right. Generally the more hp, the colder the plug.
