Are you installing the factory AC system? If so, order the assembly instruction manual (AIM) and follow the diagrams of the factory installation. The AIM shows all the various part you will need, lists the original GM part numbers for them and shows how they were assembled.
If you are installing aftermarket AC, the manufacturer of your kit should provide installation instructions with the kit.
