I finally received my electronic speedometer, after a 3 month wait. The delay had something to do with a supplier not able to provide a crucial piece for the unit. Inspired by others on this forum, I decided to put the new gauges in. The electronic speedometer is a great unit, if you change rear ratios, transmissions or tire sizes on occasion. Very easy to calibrate. The following 4 pictures quickly show some of the steps I took to get the new ones installed and the new locations for my turn signal/indicator lights.
I did send several people the pictures and hopefully I did send them to you. The system is still working great. Let's see if it can last. I am now driving in 97*, high humidity days and it's doing fine, although, I have the mirror glass tops and I think I will make some inserts to stop the sun from hitting the top of my head. The older my scalp gets, the more sensitive, I guess.
