I just purchased a 1970 Roadster. It's a driver, has the 350/350 L46, M21, Monza Red with black top and black leather interior. Unsure of gears. It's a driver but has new paint, suspension, exhaust, top. Rebuilt motor, trans and clutch., SS brakes. Needs a few things but I got a good deal.
I'll probably be asking you a bunch of stupid questions that I could find by doing some digging on the site but that's half the fun. I used to have a Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle, decided to get out of the 9 second business (on my pregnant wife's urgings). Plan to drive the car, maybe do it up right. I'll post some pics when I can.
I'm in Phoenix, AZ, any other members from "hell"? Other interests include: Beer....college football (Go Sun Devils!), hmmm, let's see.......BEER!
I've pretty much been out of muscle cars since I sold my 1979 Z28 back in 1989. That was a cool car, had a T-10 4-spd and a 350 with heads. I've also owned a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T and a 1969 GTO (high school) which was pretty "ratted out". The bad news is I'm not much good with a wrench past oil changes. The good news is I run a vehicle maintenance shop (among other things) for my company and my mechanics are anxious to "go though" the beast for me.
Feel free to bash the dog snot out of me, we used to do it to "newbies" on the Hayabusa boards.
Welcome to the forum, Bob. This is a great place to get all of your questions answered. College football, eh? Even though I'm in the Buckeye State, I was born an Okie...SOONER by the Grace of God. GO SOONERS!!!

 Welcome to the forum Bob! It sounds like a great car! Congratulations to you and your wife about the upcoming future corvette owner. :) Just make sure you don't throw anything original away! You never know what numbers they'll be checking in 10 years and who will be rebuilding what! :jester: .

Re: New '70 Roadster owner (Juliet)
Welcome to the board. Gotta love the 70 model corvettes. Give Juliet your info for the Registry. Post some pics now so we can see what you have over there. Sounds like a really nice ride.
Welcome Bob! Nice drivetrain combination!! You will find a lot of expert advice on this forum from people that really know their stuff!! Even if you don't do the "wrenching" yourself, understanding your car and being able to diagnose a problem will save you $$$$!!
