Re: Who make these wheels? (Mr.Gearhead)
They of Boyds, the rim is called Timeless.
I can''t go with Timeless. The lug nyuts are sighted in the spokes on Timeless. The wheel in the picture hasd the lug nuts between the spokes... As in New Wave
They might not be Boyd. The Boyd looked like a straighter edge wheel. The wheels in the picture like they flare out a little towards the tire. A company called Eagle Alloys (a/k/a American Eagle Wheel Company) makes something just like that wheel.
Thanks for the help everyone !!! :chevy
Thought Terry was right, but comparing the two pics right up against each other the flange at the hub on the boyd's is angular, where the green rids rims seem circular, and I agree the spoke where it hits the rim is also a little flared, but that could be an optical distortion. The bend in the spokes is very much the same, the green vette rims may have the spokes set in deeper in the rim, but that also may be just be because of the difference in camera angles. The eagles seem a little different too. The mystery continues.
Anyhow thanks all for the help, I am looking for the rims as they apear on the green vette, the beautiful rims on the cherry red ride if they are indeed the same look a little less beafy for my taste. I have a vision...... :D:D
Incidently if anyone is bored, I continue the search, there are a lot of wheels out there... and a lot of forum members... someone has to own that car!!!
