Default Evac system for pcv

Anyone have an exhaust EVAC system hooked up? It has a breather on each valve cover, then heat resistant hose that goes down to a one-way check valve attached to the exhaust collectors. It's used in place of the PCV valve & that tubing. Supposed to be better. I need pictures of your setups if possible. Should I do a mockup with the headers before I drop the engine in so I can take the headers to get the holes drilled & valves welded in or wait til everything is in & then do it? Just figuring it would be easier to take the headers to my buddies exhaust shop to weld them in before installing.
Thx,,, Bill A.

IMO, those only work on uncapped headers. They get welded in at something like 30 degrees and they use the exhaust flow to create a low pressure.

An exhaust system with mufflers has back pressure which would make it non functional.

Could cause oil leakage and burning problems by building pressure in the crankcase.

I have Stage II exhaust so there's not too much back pressure to begin with. I'm trying to locate the best position for the welded in tube/check valve before I install the headers onto the engine after engine install. We mocked up the headers on the engine stand but it looks like I may have to figure out exact placement after headers in.
Still need pictures,,,
Thx,,, Bill A.

I used an exhaust evac sytem on my dragster. The evac has a check valve that doesn't open till a certain vacuum level. I used clear tubing to the collector evac. It would not do anything or open up till over 3000 rpm on uncapped headers with 12 inch extentions.

I would agree with the above that any back pressure even from a dual three inch exhaust with an X pipe and racing muffler would make it not even work until very high rpm and wide open throttle to create the vacuum.

They are just not made for street cars or I would have them on my 434 ci
