help me identify these cables

Those are the neutral safety and back up lamp switches. If you're not going to have any type of neutral safety switch with the 6 speed, the 2 purple wires need to hooked/jumpered to each other or your car won't start.
If the 6 speed has a back up lamp switch run the pink and green wires to the switch.
If the 6 speed has a back up lamp switch run the pink and green wires to the switch.

Usually a neutral safety on a stick shift is a clutch switch so the clutch must be pushed down to start the car. If the 6 speed has a switch that has continuity in neutral, there's the neutral safety part.
Backup lamp switch will have continuity in reverse and the b/u lamps will work.

I disconnect my clutch pedal saftey switch in the starter circuit, its a good circuit to install a hidden anti-theft switch into
You can do the same with your auto trans neutral saftey switch.
