I'm looking at a 1980 corvette red black leather interior has 1100 original miles on it It has been Bloomington Gold certified mint condition auto. glass roofs how much do you think its worth? to buy.
That's a tuff question. The answer is as much as somebody is willing to pay for it. 1100 miles is un herd of so that's a great selling point, can't get much better than that. Lets look at the bad side though as must be done with any used car. 1100 miles means that it sat for a long, very long time. Could mean that all the seals in the drive train are dried up. Or worse, the car was wrecked right off and it took them 30 years to decide if it was worth fixing or not. Ok maybe this is a bit extreme. Then we need to figure out just how rare the car is, 1980 is a great cruiser but is not considered a collectable performance car. No mention if its an L-82 or not. Ok so lets look at the market. 5k will buy a driving 80' vette, 10k will get a nice one, lets double that for this super low mile one. But what are you going to use it for? Driving it will de value it in a hurry. I'd buy it to take to the NCRS as a survivor but some body else all ready has. Its worth as much as somebody is willing to pay for it.

Its at a dealer in CT I looked at all pictures under and in and out. nice as the day it was built. It has a L-48 in it.All Seals and gaskets Are fine no leaks. asking 34,900 what do you think?
IIRC, there was a '78 25th anniversary edition with less than 100 miles on it at one of the big auctions a few years back, didn't bring much over $20K.
Do you plan to drive it or look at it? At that age and mileage, I assume NOTHING has ever been replaced, 100% original. That means you are going to have a lot to replace to get it on the road safely. Assuming the brake lines and fuel lines have had fluid & fuel in them and it has not been changed, I would expect it to be a problem (also for the brake calipers and master cylinder). Expect all rubber components to be dry rotted. Electronics may be a crap shoot (even though low mileage, it has not been used and corrosion has still occured).
If you are spending $35K, I'd rather one that is driven and restored to Bloomington Gold than one that has sat its entire life.
For that kind of money I'd buy a nice chrome bumper car to drive and enjoy. To me (and I own and enjoy owning and driving one), that is outrageous money for a 1980 in any condition. But that's just me...

I think it's worth $20,000 with an L-48 and I'm going to assume it's an automatic. It would be a little more if it was a 4 speed.
