Doing control arm bushings... am I missing something?
I'm doing my control arm bushings, and realized that there appears to be some other rubber parts rotting off of the a frames... It is closer to the middle on each side, and only on the lower frames. I thought that I only needed the bushings... what are these other rubber parts called?

Seems like there may be some rubber bumpers on the lower control arms. These just bolt on. I believe this what you are talking about. I dont have any pictures of mine but I am sure several people on here should have some pics. I can go out and take one and email.

There are two other rubber parts, not including the stabilizer link bushings.
There is a snap-in rubber bumber underneath the upper a-frame, and a bolt on rubber bumber on top of the lower a-frame. They are both (4 total) replaceable.
Also... be sure to avoid bending the a-frames when you install your new bushings. The shafts should turn freely by hand when you are finished. If not, you bent 'em.
