On page 214 of my 1975 assembly manual I see the locations and proper assembly of these body mounts. Is the replacement of these mounts possible with just a frame jack in my garage or should I have it done at a shop with a lift? Also I did not get new bolts with the kit I purchased. The assembly manual does not give the size of the bolts but part #334766. The only nut shown is for position 1 #3930109. They also show adhesive cement #9981098 is this necessary for urethane bushings?

Search the forum but it can be done with the car on jack stands. Its a tough job but first start by getting some solvent on all the body bolt threads and let soak for a few days. Don't be surprised if a few don't come out and may need to be cut out. 2 and 3 are the toughest as they have a cage nut in the frame.
Before starting check the structure around the #3 mount by viewing thru the cover plate in the wheel well. This is a heavy corrosion area and you may find the scope of the project expanding.
Remember that you are working with a very old piece of machinery. Once you start taking things apart, it is absolutely common to find more things that need attention.
We call it the "while I'm at it" syndrome.
I helped my friend Rob remove the body on his '70. The #3 & #4 were problematic. Before you think about installing new body mounts, you're going to have to free up all eight body bolts. Breaking the captive nuts loose or breaking the bolts are what you have to contend with. If/when that happens your job just got very complicated.
Good luck!

My doors ect did not line up... So before messing with hinges I had the mounts replaced.... I had read all the threads in here and knew it was not a job for me.... The shop I use does this on a weekly basis so I took it there.... Had the differential lube changed while it was there.... Best money spent.....
Thanks guys, the weather here has been single digits so I have not had the urge yet to lay on the concrete floor but rust buster coming out soon. I took both doors off to replace the pins in the hinges and figured everything would be lighter. I will get it done!
If you have a coupe, removing the doors will certainly lighten the body without any other issues. If you have a convertible, you must brace up the door openings, or the body will flex and flop around like you wouldn't believe.
I have a big gap on both sides, top of fenders to doors, there's no door sag and the hinges are great. The rear mounts are the worst, I'm using rubber mounts.

Post some photos of the gap. Some of the gaps were crappy right from the factory.
