hey fontking1a, nice jag! which version of the lt-1 is powering it? and don't 62 e-types have covered headlights? :confused:

Very observant. It is actually a '62 chassis with a '73 hood. The whole car is a mish mosh of Jag/Chevy. The engine is a '72 LT-1 block with a spec sheet full of stuff I can't mention. The rear end is still all Jag but almost everything else is a bit of this...and that. Bottom line however....the car is brutally fast. I used to race a friend who owned a 427 Cobra and as fast as his car was.....this thing beat it every time. If you want some more pix....or info.....let me know.

i dont know why, but to me it still looks like it has some datsun 240z in it!! Quite a hotrod, tho!! :)

Nissan just came out with the new Z, my Car & Driver newest issue went in to good details. Good numbers, nice look. Might be worth checking out for the Z afficiandos. :cheers:

This Jag was created in 1961 and the bodystyle is early 60s. The 240Z is about 10 years later. The Z might have some Jag...in it.

definitely! The japanese are very good at copying the best of other designs. When you look at the new Z you can pick out features of several cars, including porsche. :) MJ
