Default 2 or 4 bolt?

Was the block used in the '81 L81 Engine a 2 or 4 bolt block?

Thanks.

And does anyone know what kind of internals were used?
The volume of piston dish? ect...would be a big help.

MOTORHEAD IS RIGHT. All L-82's had a 4-bolt main.

My money's on a 2-bolt block. Only way to tell for sure is to drop the pan.

The L-81 engine is the computor controlled carburator version of the L-48. All of the internal parts are the same as an L-48. 2-bolt block, cast crank, 1.94 heads, same cam, same pistons and rods.

I think the stock 4 brow piston is a -11.5cc volume.
