Default Seat upgrades in a 77

Howdy yall, I mounted in some miata seats in the vette as I kinda hate the stock seats. They fit really well but the problem Im having is they sit pretty high. Id say about 3" higher. Doesnt sound like alot but you can really tell seated in the car.
So anyway I think Im gonna swap these out for something else. I know Fiero seats will fit but I was wondering about what other seats that people have gotten to fit in there, preferably with a close to original seat height.
Thoughts?

I have a set of black Recaro buckets that were in a 1978 with the tracks. They will need to be recovered but they are complete with good foam. $200 plus shipping from IL takes them or pick them up. They sit at the same height as stock, fit well and will bolt right in. If you know a good upholstery shop and looking for a top quality awesome looking seat these would be perfect. The 78 was converted back to stock.

I was thinking of the corbeau A4's as well. I understand the 1" shaved ones are same height as stock.

I asked about those seats and was told that they sit slightly higher than stock seats. I have C5 sport seats in my 1970. No tracks, mounted directly to the floor. Very comfortable and much better support. I am 6'1" and have no problem with them.

I have Fiero seats and had them on the stock sliders. They sit up to high so this spring going to mount them solid. I never move them forward anyway.

I have Corbeau A4's in mine with the 1" shaved option. Mine are bolted directly to the floor because with the slider tracks they set to high for them to lean foward. If you go this way make sure that you get the narrow version as the wide one will not fit, at least not in mine.
