10% OFF SUMMITT !!! Follow up
I woke up Saturday morning and shortly after rising I recieved a call from a female that sounded like the Windows and Siding sales person or some other annoyance, but I heard her through............
It was SUMMITT Racing wanting to know if I had recieved my $800 order and was I satisfied with my Salesman, and his knowledge and help with my needs.
I told her that my salesman was Woody at ext. 6845 and that I was so pleased with him that I would ask for his ext. on my next order.
THEN ! She asked about the 10% discount I had recieved on my order and would I like to sign up for future E-mail notice of any other special offers. I said "Of course !
NEXTShe asked me where I had heard about the special offer ? I told her on CorvetteForum.com .That it is the largest Corvette Website that I know of and with a very large and active membership. I told her that the members buy a lot of products and are very good about referring other members toward a good vender or supplier and also helping to steer others away from the bad ones.
Hey TROY, How about calling and asking them to be a regular sponsor and giving us a special coupon or something every now and then? JIM :yesnod: :seeya

Just call Summitt Racing and tell them the Guy's on CorvetteForum.Com said you could get a 10% discount from them and then place your order. If you get someone who doesn't know about it have them switch you over to Customer Service and BINGO you've got an extra 10% off !!!!

I think I might like to do business with these folks. Is there a website or phone number, so I might get one of their catalogs. I' ve got a list of things to order also. Now if I can just figure out where my wife hid the credit cards. :D

I have found their customer service to be outstanding and shipping is like clockwork. I order one day get it the next. I have never had to deal with a back order so I am not sure about their turnaround on back ordered items. But since they have always had the stuff in stock that tells me something.
BTW I think that 10% is good till July 31 so you still got time. I am waiting till the last minuts since I don't really need anything but I can't pass up good savings.

They still haven't called me here in Australia yet after I placed my order for some Hooker Headers. You'd think it was the least they could do after I spent the money calling them first. :D

Off topic but I understand that the the owner of Summit is a very people friendly guy that is great to his employees. He has huge picnics ,ect for them all on his buck.

Anyway,for the most part,if it is not in their catalog does not mean they don't have it. Just pick up your Jegs catalog and give them that part number.

Yep! Sometimes you have to give them the correct part numbers though.Case in point, I know two guys aked for a oil pump pickup tube for Corvette,was sent the 55-S1 tube for passenger car and truck,the correct part number is 55-S3 in a Melling brand for the small block
