I have a bowtie block with a Stewart Stage 3 pump. Neither the block nor the pump has provisions for a bypass. I use the proprietary Stewart thermostat that has bypass holes in it for that reason.
The problem is that in winter the engine doesn't get up to temp.
I was wondering if using a coolant line from under the thermostat housing to the top of the pump (the big fitting) would work. Something like a -6 line.
