I've noticed that only my right rear tire spins when I floor it on rights, but if do it on left turns both of them will spin, why the heck is this happening.

Sounds like maybe the clutches in the limited slip diff are worn and a bit loose. All open(non-posi) diffs will usually spin the right wheel. When you floor it to the left, more weight is planted to the right tire, giving it more traction, then the left spins with it and around you go. What happens if you burn out straight?
Spinning wheels while turning, with a posi or limited slip diff, is especially hard on the clutch packs and spider gears.
There were a limited number of C2/c3 Corvettes that were produced without posi-traction. I doubt on a later model C3 that its the case. Has someone been inside the rear end and swapped the carrier to an open diff ?
