Default wire help for automatic

in the 72, I bought all new harnesses for the restore from lectric limited. I cant find where the wire is for the automatic shifter backlight. I have the ac light, the cig lighter light.

Does anyone know if the wire is part of the harness or is separate. I found the part at Docrebuild, but the wiring diagram does not show where to connect it to? the part I am referring to is 8901812.

The separate harness is a "formal" pig tail light if you will. A standard courtesy lamp with a lengthy wire that terminates with a female plug. When the Auto option was called for the female plug attached to the spare male 12+V connector found in the dash harness.
Should find that on all dash harnesses (including your LL harness which are way nice by the way). It usually hangs down toward the right side of the radio right where the upper console meets the lower. Probably a grey wire if all's right with the world.

I did see that in the wiring diagram, just did not see it in the actual harness. I will after to order that plug I guess since it wasnt in the harness bag at all.
