Do BB side pipe headers require any clearancing?
I am trying to decide between Hooker and XS Power side pipes for my 74 BB. My Hooker Super Comp under car headers required minor clearancing (crimping) on the outside on the passenger side and on the inside on the drivers side to clear the kick out on a racing oil pan, and they only have 1 7/8" primary tubes. Both the BB side pipe systems I'm looking at have 2 1/8" primaries.
So will the BB side pipe headers need to be bent or massaged anywhere to make them fit?
