Way to go Dwayne, would like to attend but I have been away all week and there is no way I could leave the house tomorrow, at least the vette is home and now awaiting the new ignition system so I can do a fine tuning, the points crap out after 4200 rpm, but I sure get there in a hurry. Seems like the car really wants to take off at the 4000 + rpm area.
Anybody bringing significant others? I think 'da wife wants to go.
BTW, went to Sunset Speedway tonite to watch the Stock car racing. Wow. That has got to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I think there is a race next Saturday night, cost is $17 p/p. Anybody wanna go?
You just bent my rubber arm and I will bring the C-4, even though it may not be in keeping with the C-3 Shark club spirirt.
I just had a new security system installed in the C-4 with remote locking, starter lock-out, shock sensor etc. installed by Mass electronics (Delco dealer/repair). I will do the same for my C-3. I could not install my 12-CD Delco changer that came out of my (totalled) '96 GTP. Could not be done for a '92 C-4 (FM modulator etc.). If there are any geniuses who can wire this 12 CD changer to their radio I will donate it. I will bring Elizabeth, if OK and ...12 CD changer.
Hope the BBQ went well, family obligations kept me home, did have a chance or 2 to take the vette out and continue the break-in. With running straight pipes right now I have at least a 60% hearing loss, . I have to put in a heater core cut off switch as it was really hot in the cabin, could feel the heat coming out of the floor ducts.
It was nice to meet you Peter. I can't remember, are you going to be attending next weekends festivites in St. Catherines? I am a go, if there is any interest.
Many thanks for the invite, enjoyable BarBQ and interesting company. The drive in your prestine and necksnapping 454 CI '69 was an experience. Edlebrock wheels are awesome. Next is my turn.
