Since they're aftermarket, the manufacturer of your pipes should provide installation instructions. My guess would be the stock rocker panels would not be used behind the pipes.
I think you have to trim the moldings in the front to get them to work with the side pipes.
A doubt his pipes came with install instructions, the Chinese knockoffs never do.
My side pipes required no trimming of the rocker panels, your results may vary. The side pipe tubes have brackets that will bolt to the frame behind the panels using existing slotted holes. If the hardware is not included in your kit, you may have to get the bolt kit from Hooker, or fabricate your own.
I saw a good suggestion from someone here on CF for installing the trim pieces. Take the rear tire off, so you can slide the trim pieces in more or less parallel to the frame rails. I haven't tried it myself, I don't run trim pieces on mine.
The front of my panels required clearencing for the pipes.
They are installed by removing the rear wheels and sliding them in between the frame and side pipe.
I did get them installed I had to remove the rear tires and slide the in. I had to cut the passenger side front rocker panel. You can tell that I did it just by looking at it unless you know I did.

What brand of sidepipes do you have on yours and BB or SB? Thanks, Tom
