Just finished putting the aluminum Crossed Flag valve covers and chrome air cleaner cover on my 1979. Had a few problems like the flanges would not clear the tin chamber over the exhaust manifold on the left side. It took a 2X6 and a B#H a couple of well placed smacks. But the real question is the grommet for the PCV valve is to big. Has anyone run into that? Any suggestions? I'm thinking to get a stock grommet and plug it in the other grommet
I have some aftermarket Chevrolet chrome valve covers and bought this package. PCV on one side (hole in the grommet should be 3/4") with outside diameter about 1 1/4" and the other one for the breather (this grommet hole about 1").
