question
while cleaning the lt inner fender of my '72 I uncovered the North American Rockwell manuf id info. Can anyone decode the 11 72 #. Was this the prod date? Seems late in '72 prod run. Mine is over 17,000 prod # Fender does not appear to be replaced. Just curious

Something's not quite right there. Normally GM would be producing '73 models in November of '72. Couple possibilities. Could be the car was repaired. I also seem to remember GM experienced a strike about that time that screwed up their production schedule. Don't recall the details. Someone on this Forum knows.
