Okay, maybe not all of it, but I want to learn all I can about the C3. I am looking for recommendations on good C3 reference material to add to my library.

There is a new book by Mike Mueller that is supposed to be real good but I don't remember its name.
It all depends on what your plans are. Do you want it original or do you want to make it better for performance? For Originality the Corvette Restoration Guide will give you some good tips. You'll have to get with some of these other guys for some more books of this type cause to be honest I bought this one by mistake LOL. One book I HIGHLY recommend is How To Restore & Modify Your Corvette by Richard Newton. A EXCELLENT book in my opinion. Other than that I would say you will absolutely need the AIM for your particular year model and the Shop manual also. That should give you what you need to know for just about anything you run into. Everything else this forum will take care of. This I have to say is the BEST resourse by far I have ever found for anything I need to know. Hope this helps and good luck.
If you want mechanical info get for your year car:
1 AIM (Assembly INfo Manual) This is exploded diagrams of how the car was built, includes part numbers (from back then, but most GM parts can look it up & get the new number), torque specs, some assembly details & instructions.
2. Chassis Service Manual - this is the book the dealership guys know to service the car - how to remove installed parts & service them.
3. Chassis overhaul Manual - this tells you how to rebuild / repair the part you removed using book 2. above. :)
4. NCRS Technical Info & Judging Guide: If you want to identify original from repro or aftermarket parts, understand date codes and know what the original finishes were on parts.
