When I pump up the tester on the radiator cap to 15psi I cannot see or hear any leakage externally - but it will slowly leak all the way down. I have triple checked all hoses and clamps.
So I thought maybe there is an internal problem with one of the cylinders so I did a compression test. All 8 are within 10% of the strongest. I also took off the intake, and added sealant around the water ports on the gasket (new).I did not have it on there the first time.
I tried dye in the coolant too.
Any other suggestions on how to find where its leaking out?
thanks
I have the hoses going to the heater core blocked off. I just ran the block tester test. The test fluid stayed blue until my coolant heated up and got sucked into the tester. I'll try it again but I think it passed the test. I don't have a stethoscope.
I don't see white smoke out the exhaust or water in the oil or oil in the water.
