Default 80 automatic shut off issues

Hey guys, so I've been having this consistent issue on my corvette of it shutting off when I'm driving her.

It seems to be only when I'm accelerating and elevated at an angle. It started this morning going up a tiny hill on the street. I managed to get it back onto a flat street and it ran well for at least 4 blocks.

Then when I went up another hill, and down a hill through out several blocks, it shut off at least 5 times in the process of me getting it back to my house. Which I wasn't able to do as at 3 blocks away from my house, just touching the gas would shut it off. I had the heater on, but during the last 3 shut offs, heater and radio was off so it cannot be anything battery related...Especially cause I switched battery last year.

Things I've had 2 different mechanics try:
-Replaced carb with a Holley (old 1 was an edelbrock) -- this caused it to run well for at least 4 months, though I don't think I drove it more than 200 miles in those 4 months
-Replaced distributor connector & condenser
-Replaced distributor cap
-Replaced carburetor filter
-Replaced fuel filter & fuel filter hoses

Before the carb change to a Holley, the car would shut off with a loud pop but now it's not doing that.

My next best guess is that it's an issue with the gas not airing out properly as that previously caused it to automatically shut down. Reason I guess that is because I used to have a gas cap with drilled holes for air to release, and I believe the mechanic said that it was required due to the gas clogging up somewhere in a main fuel line if it didn't have a way to release air pressure (it was a long time ago so I'm probably butchering what he said). Anyways, I no longer have that aerated gas cap because it was supposedly fixed using another method, and for years I had a normal gas cap, but maybe that issue came back.

Needless to say, it is a bit frustrating so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does it simply quit running as if the ignition was shut off or does it sputter and quit as it it was running out of gas?

Default Shut off

Three things
Air
Spark
Fuel
Sounds like a coil or a loose wire on the coil

Could be the fuel pump, losing power going up hills is a classic symptom.

Your mechanic if he is one would know that tank is vented to a charcoal canister right from the factory. Check fuel pressure
