How to polish SS headers
Before I install my ARH SS headers, what is the best method for polishing them?
Media blast?
The current finish has had no polish. I'm also wondering if it will matter once heat hits them.
Opinions please.

PO installed Hooker SS headers w/o coating and I can't polish the luster back into them. I would recommend ceramic coating them, which is what I would've don't if I installed them. Good luck!

The problem with doing all of the work to polish the headers, is that within an hour of running exhaust thru them, they are going to turn blue. The blue can be polished out, but it seems like the more cycles they go thru, the harder they are to clean.
Ceramic coating helps hide a lot, but they never look like chrome or polished stainless again. Some ceramics can be polished to shine, but still looks like a coating. That is the way I am going this summer during the off season.

If your headers are turning blue your probably running lean. Go on a Harley site and see what product they use to buff out the blue.
