1971 Radiator
The base cars, with no AC, no Automatic, and base engine (no RPO) came with this radiator.
] This was a factory installed, high performance aluminum radiator and since it has no filler neck it uses a separate aluminum surge tank. This is what we refer to as our "Restoration Radiator" because they are exact reproductions of the original and will pass all levels of judging.
We also offer a Direct Fit replacement for this model and it cost about $300 less.

The above two radiators mount with two 1/2" pins, 11" apart on the bottom of the radiator.
If the car received any one of the above options, or a combination of them, then the radiator was the larger 26" copper/brass radiator, with no surge tank. Now, here is where it gets a little confusing....Some catalogs will list the smaller as the "Manual/No Air" radiator but that doesn't tell the whole story. You could have an LT1 or a L46 with Manual/noair and that would be the copper radiator.

Since you described your car as a 350/270, 4-speed, no a/c car….. I'm curious about it having a plastic shroud as you noted, and also wonder if it has an over-flow tank mounted on the passenger's side apron.
Those things might influence just what radiator will be a good choice for you.
A 71, 350/270, 4-speed, no a/c car, would have originally typically had an aluminum radiator and a simple round steel fan shroud. Perhaps some things have been changed over the years.

Alan
I agree that a radiator from DeWitts is a good choice.

My 71 is relatively rust free. However because of some old radiator leaks, my support and cross member had significant rust to the point that there were holes.
Wrestling with the shrouds is painful, I replaced all these components so I didn't have to mess with the shrouds again (hopefully...)

As far as I know it is the original radiator. As I said, I had a radiator shop check and clean it and it tested just fine. I never had a heating issue with it when I was using it. Since I am using electric fans I purchased acomplete kit.
I am asking $200.00 plus shipping.
