So the seats on my 76 look pretty good. No rips or tears and that lovely Dk Firethorn (look great in a white car) I think they need some work securing and may be missing some of the adjustment stops BUT at the end of the day, all fixed up, I still think they may be lacking in comfort.
What is a good replacement seat from a later model car that would most likely be available in a salvage yard. Something that has good side bolsters and lumbar support yet has the same profile as the stock seat?
Thanks,
Diesel
I took mine to a classic car and plane upholstery shop .... They repaired cracked welds, added new padding, built up thigh and side bolsters and added a perforated center panel .... No worry about making brackets, tracks ect fit....
Pontiac Fiero Seats. More comfortable. Look Better and lots of colors to pick from in regards to seat covers. Mr. Mike's is the authority on these. If you're handy and have some tools building the adapters for the tracks won't take too long
