Default 1968 L-79 Intake

Evening all. I'm hoping someone can set me straight on a thing or two, please? Research indicates the correct intake casting # is 3919803. I've also seen a couple of blurbs stating casting # 3960364 is a possibility too. Help..... Yes, I have a 64, I want the correct one, but not sure if I already have one or not?

I think the only intake the NCRS recognizes, is the "803". The "364" is supposedly the same casting, and it has provision for the oil fill tube, so it has to be a 68 or earlier intake.

What is the casting date of the intake? Is it in line with the block's casting date, and the engine's assembly date? If the intake's casting date doesn't line up with the other dates, it's likely been changed.

Believe it or not, I could not find a casting date. It usually is behind the carb opening off to the right, isn't it?

I finally got to looking at this intake again. Date code is E24. May 2, 1964, right? Any idea what this belongs on? I'm not finding much out there as far as info on this.
I've since went and purchased the correct intake for the 1968 L-79.
