Default 1975 L48 top end options

After not driving my vette except for a few days a year while at school my parents are moving the harrisburg about 5 minutes from the campus so I am moving back in. This means I get to work on it some more. As of now it is a 1975 L48 with a rebuilt engine with a small cam, don't know the specs on it, with about 9,000 miles on it and the suspension has been rebuilt almost front to back. So time to get some more out of the engine. I would love to keep the same block so what is the most I can get out of it changing the top end and what would a good set up be. I have removed the AC didn't feel like spending the money to fix it when I dont drive it that much save for on nice days. Also I have Hooker headers and Sidepipes with the maxflow inserts. Any thoughts or input is appreciated save for dropping a crate in it.

Do a search. There are a lot of options and a lot of past posts, discussing this very thing.
