oil pressure erratic
Hi guys
73 with 454. Oil sender is mechanical. Pressure runs about 50 to 65. That's O.K. It's the needle jumping around that bothers me. The photo below shows my finger on the sender line. Should there be air gaps like this?? Should I pull out the gauge and somehow bleed the oil thru to the gauge?? I know air can compress and thought maybe air in the line is the problem. Any thoughts??
