What block did it come out of?? Did the numbers and letters come from areas between the lobes?? Anything on the rear end face of the cam?? A lot of after market cams have some sort of letters or numbers on the rear face. Your marks sound like cam core markings. Do you know if the cam is a hydraulic or solid lifter cam? Any history on it?? Did it come out of a running engine or did you just get it from someone at a swap meet??

I saw on the offshore only website that the z010 cam came out of a gen 4 big block chevy 454 that a guy had but know one knows the specs. Whether or not yours is a big block cam is anyone's guess. I once had a melling pontiac ram air 3 cam I bought but code that was stamped on the end indicated it was a big block chevy cam. Sent it back to melling and it ended up being the correct pontiac cam but just got stamped wrong !!!
