Picked up a 403 bell for a future auto to manual conversion...

What flywheel (for an l48) and clutch setup do you guys recommend?

I got a good stock 168 tooth flywheel. Will sandblast and pack for $40 plus shipping. For an L48 stock replacement is all good.

if you got the bucks an alumnium flywheel will allow your engine to rev a lot easier and quicker. OEM flywheel weight about 35lbs, aluminum about 11lbs. you will notice the difference. T

that won`t fit in a #403 bellhousing, he needs the smaller 153T flywheel

American Powertrain has a nice 621 Bellhousing..Used their parts for my 6speed conversion a few years back..It indexed within specs,you'll need a starter for a manual the auto starter wont work.Went with a lighter billet steel flywheel for street use..Aluminum is not your best option for the street.Research the pros and cons.. ...Fun project and shifting gears is way more fun!!
