exhaust pipes
When the time comes to replace the exhaust, do you folks buy pipes and get them installed, or go with a pipe bending shop. My local guy brought up to me a good point that alot of stuff comes from China and don't always fit correctly. My '78 exhaust are all rusty and looks like it sat in a shollow lake, and are hanging down a bit - mufflers are only a couple years old so I will reuse them.

unless you can find a kit with mandrel bends, I would just have a shop do it. Magnaflow sells a kit but it's big money. Pypes has a resonable kit but I heard there's fitment issues with it.

My previous owner had a shop do them with all 2.5 stainless pieces, all welded together... Lots of special bends and pieces, and LOTS of cost in labor! All in all I think he spent $4300 throwing that system in there... In the end, I'm VERY happy to have it ... And HAPPIER it wasn't my coin that paid for it! Lol
