I was doing some prep work before installing my dash pads and notice my January 71 car does not have the trans tunnel brackets or reinforcement bars as show on the 71 AIM drawings(sheet A9). Is it possible the early cars where set up different?
The AIM shows two support rods on the passengers side and one on the drivers side, is this correct for all 71 coupes?

My 71 coupe does not have the braces as well. I don't think it even had the mounting brackets on the bottom section of the windshield frame.
I believe the braces where only used on convertibles.
