I sent Nick, the owner an email this morning. He got right back to me and apologized more than need be. The bad load of tubing has just put him behind, not only my car but all the others they are working on. So they are working as hard as they can to get caught up. Being in the steel industry myself I understand this and can understand his delays. That being said I will wait for it and when it is done it is done. In 3 months from now it won't matter that it took an extra week or two.

Having a machinist's background, I have seen inferior metal! The exhausts would have failed sooner or later after you received the car had they not inspected the tubing.

They took a big step by admitting this rather than "leading you on" for another month while trying to correct the situation, or by going ahead and selling you a product that "might work".

You are a great customer for "hanging in there" with them through this problem!

I keep trying to tell myself that same thing with everything going on with mine right now.... Supposed to be picking mine back up tonight but my guess is that won't happen.

I'll be interested to see how they do the rest of your exhaust. I imagine it all looks about the same as any other, but curious none-the-less.

Talked to Nick last night. Got to say an owner who calls at 830 at night to get back to me is interested in his business. We talked about the exhaust and it looks like the 3 inch system is just to much with a T56 in the way. The trans is just to big to tuck in the pipes with the all the other stuff going on under there. They are going to tuck it all up so nothing hangs down low. So 2 1/2 will have to do. I made plenty of HP with my old 2 1/2 system so this should do fine. I'd rather have it tucked up than all out HP. So I may sacrifice a couple of HP but that is fine. It should be back to me sometime next week. Pictures will follow as soon as I can get them

Looks good Gordan!

Its too little too late now but... If you could have done a tubular tranny cross member, you would have had plenty of room to tuck a 3" system... We have my 3" system close to the floor board and plenty of ground clearance...(although your car may be lower then mine)

I will say ARH builds a killer exhaust system.. I run their 2" headers/3" x pipe on my C5... Fit is awesome! I wish they sold them coated though. After 4k miles, my pretty stainless headers looks like crap. I'm about to pull them off and sent them to jet hot for coating in the next few weeks.

Yes I will say mine is a little lower. A tubular X member was a thought but mine is a welded in X member so a tubular was not a bolt in operation.

I think that he's working on a video for us of the car being driven so we can hear the exhaust system!

Yes check my other post about the headers. It has pictures of the exhaust. I am away until tomorrow afternoon. I'll try and get some video and any more pictures then
