Re: Control arm bushing install Saturday !!!!!!!! (n8370c)
Good luck. Give me a call if you need advice, help, etc. One weekend, huh?? :) I can drive the 5 miles from Fallston to Forest Hill pretty quick. Problem with a project like this is that one thing starts another. For example, you'll get the A frames out....then you want to clean/blast them and paint them. Then you wait till the paint dries, and on and on. Good Luck. Pat has me painting and wallpapering this weekend. If you want to use my glass bead cabinet, give me a call.
BTW, you MIGHT have to remove the hood, and you MIGHT have to at least loosen or possibly remove the radiator, shroud, and core support to get the upper A Frames out. Chuck

No No No, I plan on occupying the entire garage with spewn parts for a week or two. In fact once I get the wheels off and really look inside I may bag the whole thing. I think I know my limitation.
Now about that wallpaper and painting... I have a dining room in the middle of the same project ;)

If you want to use my bead blaster, give me a call. Love your "Crack The Sky" logo. Got to be a Baltimore guy to understand that one. I'll bet that 90% of the people on this forum have no idea who or what Crack The Sky is. :) Chuck

Thanks Chuck, As I said...
I know my limitations when it comes to projects on this car. I put the wheels back on and gave it a good vacuum and dust off
I'll leave the hard stuff to a qualified mechanic. That's why god invented overtime:lol: I can see me taking this all apart (wow a lot of stuff just to get to the arms) and then having it sit for a few weeks.
Thanks for the offer of the bead blaster but I would have to do the whole car if I started with the control arms. My dad says " you pull a lose thread and find an elephant attached to the other end" :jester
As far as the Crack The Sky logo.. only one other person has mentioned it through instant messaging and I turned him on to crackthesky.com to purchase Cd's & stuff. You know they still play their azzes off locally from time to time!
