Hi guys and gals, Ok so... New fuel tank, sending unit and fuel lines were installed last November never had any problems.
So a week ago I filled it up ( like I have done many times before). Gas started pouring out from the driver side of the tank from what appears to be a black box. Anyone have a clue?? It's so weird.

That "black box" is the fuel/vapor separator that is plumbed to the charcoal canister. By my understanding this should allow vapors to escape the tank but not liquid. Also it is at the very top of the tank so the tank would have to be filled completely for any gas to be draining.
I wonder if the hoses to the separator were installed incorrectly or the separator itself is defective? Hope this helps.
