I took the bracket off and from what I am reading, everybody is relocating them to the top of the trailing arm. To me it looks like the bottom is better. the cable is running under there now. Any suggestions????????????
Tworottie, I looked it over when I did mine some 6+ years ago, and decided behind the rotors was best...I tried all sorts of configurations, and looked at the play of the cable shroud in the up and down positions of the arms, released the spring and played with a jack up and down...that told ME anyway that behind the rotor seems easiest, and at that I tied a spring to a large washer on the shock mount, then around the shroud to make damn sure it's off the tires....I have 275 rubber on '92 vette rims, with 2.5 inch adaptors...
I haven't checked out your website for some time. I see you updated it with a few of your mods. Looks great and I have been thinking about wheels like that.
When you say to mount the bracket behind the caliper, what do you mean? Any pics?
