2 questions regarding EZ-EFI 1.0
There is a green wire coming for the inline fuel pump kit.
1. What do I do with that wire?
Regarding the handheld unit.
2. Does the handheld unit have to be connected to learn while driving?
Or can I drive without the handheld unit, and the system will still learn and save data?

I believe the green wire is your relay trigger wire, but you will want to double-check.
No the handheld does not need to be connected to learn, it is just for your ability to perform the set-up & view current conditions.
When you turn your key off, the computer will save what it learned. If you were to pull just manually disconnect the power (like disconnecting the battery terminal) it will loose anything it learned during that session.
