Differential Plug
I am having problems removing the differential plug on my '75. What type of socket should I be using? My plug is square and may not be original. But it looks like I will need some sort of 12 point socket? Can anyone verify this or tell me how you removed the plug?

Takes an eight point socket. Purchased the
socket at the local Napa store. There are several
sizes of eight point sockets, cannot remember
which size the corvettes take.

Mine's square too, we just used a 5/8 square wrench to loosen and then carefully removed it with pliers....had to remove the spare tire compartment to get to it.
