Hey Everyone,
Wanted to thank you all for your posts and help in regards to this topic...
Ended up removing the weatherstrip completly and starting over and am happy to say that this go around worked!
The pictures were a HUGE help - in following your advice I put a couple screws in to hold the strip in place and that made a world of difference!
Messy job - but got it done!
Anyone who is looking at this post and thinking of completing this job follow the others advice - get a spare pair of hands!
