Since you only have 500 the stock iron case is fine it just needs better internal parts. Year ago i bought my 4.11 with Richmond gears, custom yokes Toms billet main caps and upgraded posi from a builder in houston texas. You could have something like that built with your core for about $2500. The posi units are $800+ The yokes are $600+ the gears might be $300 the bearing kit and the Toms main caps. $2000 in parts and $500 labor to through it together
The best is the IRS converted Ford 9 inch for closer to $10,000 The most exotic are the Jaguar inboard disk IRS for $15,000 plus all the fab time to install them

Any drive line or rear end shop can rebuild your diff. I just did one a year or two ago and it seemed like the rebuild kit with crush sleeve was about $120 I changed gearing and used US gears maybe $200 the Eaton cone posi was worn out maybe $450. The bearings were good. I drilled and tapped the housing for a drain hole/plug
It is not that expensive if you take them the diff.
dont forget since your engine is producing 500hp and you lose about 20% through the transmission your rear end is only seeing about 400hp right? I could be wrong but I dont think you need anything built to fort knox specs..
Build it like the factory did for HP big blocks. Better stub axles with caps for the u-joints, big half shafts, etc. If it could handle an L-88 it can handle yours.
